Mi historia

Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, I arrived to the United States when I was exactly a year and a day old: I call it my first birthday present! My family was one of those broken thanks to the political scene: my mother and I were able to exile, but my father was never granted his leave despite several efforts. I grew up without my father and learning of many other families that had suffered the same fate.
